Hanging Out In Sebring With Aunt Katie & Uncle Billy

We've been invited several times to spend the weekend at Billy's parents house in Sebring; so we finally decided Thanksgiving weekend was the time to go.  Everyone had so much fun riding in the golf cart to look for deer, squirrels and cows and going on airboat and pontoon boat rides.

First thing Friday Daddy and Uncle Billy decided it was time to go for a short airboat ride.  Josie decided to tag along...this was her first airboat ride.  Mommy gave the boys two rules don't let her fall asleep and you better not break down.  Here is everyone happy as can be heading out on the lake.

Here they are about 30 minutes or so later.

Yup, Josie is sleeping and the boat broke down!  Mom and some good friends took the pontoon boat out to pick them up.  Wouldn't you know it the pontoon boat ran out of gas as we pulled into the canal at their house.  They were prepared for this with an extra container of gas.  lol

Here is a sand hill crane; just like the one we saw at Metro Zoo....hum

Finishing up Aunt Katie's great turkey dinner.

Every morning Aunt Katie and Josie filled the bird feeders.

Billy and his brother Kevin use to (I think they still do)  play with this rolling duck made of rubber.  Josie loved it, as well.

Going on a pontoon boat ride up Arbuckle Creek.

We stopped for a quick potty and food break.

Josie loved it when Uncle Billy made the boat go real fast!!

Josie also loved playing with the dogs...

Metro Zoo

So I'm not to sure, but I think it was Great Aunt Kaka's idea to take all the cousins to Metro Zoo the day before Thanksgiving.  Aunt Nicole, Elizabeth and Gabriella even came down to go and luckily Grammy and Great Aunt Kaka were there to help.  All the the kids (and adults) had a blast checking out all the animals.  The 4.5 mile walk was made for a long day, but well worth the trip.  Thanks Great Aunt Kaka!!
