Bumps and Bruises

Well it's been a whole year and we've been dreading this very day...yup we got the call from daycare this morning that Josie fell down while walking in her class room and bumped her forehead on a crib leg.  Of course it swelled and bruised instantly, so it was probably a good thing I didn't leave work to check on her.  By the time I saw it, I didn't think looked to bad, at least not as bad as some of the ones her Cousin Lily had around her first birthday :) .  I'm sure this is just the beginning of many more bumps and bruises to come. Maybe this will teach her not to run, since she can barely walk, NOT lol.

Saturday night, actually when it was time for Josie to go to bed, we all decided to go party at the triplets house.  Even Cousins Lily and Molly came.  Althought the boys were first to go to bed everyone had so much fun.  Josie even showed us her new wrestling moves, which starts as a hug and then she starts giggling and whips her legs over and knocks the unsuspecting smaller cousin to the ground.  Luckily they all thought it was just as funny as she did!

Josie's First Birthday

Josie had a blast celebrating her first birthday with all her friends and family. She shared this special event with her good friend Madison, who turned two.  The girls had a joint party at Native Village. All of their friends loved playing with all the animals. The girls especially loved eating their huge cupcakes!  During the week Josie brought cupcakes to school to celebrate her birthday with her school friends.  Luckily Daddy got small ones because Josie ate 2 1/2 of them....Enjoy the pictures and there are some videos of Josie playing with her new toys and we finally got a video of her walking.  :)

Josie's First Haircut

So we finally decided to do it... Yup Josie got her first hair cut!  We did it Sunday, May 15, about one week before Josie's first birthday. Josie and I went to Cartoon Cuts in the Pembroke Lakes Mall.  We even had to wait about 45minutes (yes, I thought about leaving and telling everyone I tried lol).

They even gave us a certificate and put her pony tail in it.  After, we celebrated cutting off her pony tail by sharing a hot dog and french fries in the mall food court.

Mother's Day Update

We all went to Josie's friend Kailyns birthday party the other weekend.  Josie had lots of fun playing with all her friends in the swimming pools.  I think Lily was one of the first one's in and she may have still had her clothes on!





Last weekend all went to the Keys so Josie could visit with her friend Emma.  They had lots of fun, especially at the sandbar.

After our trip to the Keys we went to the triplets for dinner.
