Keeping Up With Hayes

Hayes is growing so fast. Of course he mimics his sister and as you have seen dad has thought him some cute faces.  Lately Hayes likes to say oh no and no.  He also has enjoyed dancing and jumping.  He also has started to go gymnastics with his sister.  His favorite activities include the trapoline, the bars and the ball pit. Here are some of Hayes school work.

Hayes soft spot is still open, so we've had the neurologists check him out. So far, there nothing to worry about. He was a real trooper for his MRI; even though he woke up in the middle of the test and had to get more sedative. Of course we broke all the recovery rules when we got home that night and he was running around like a wild man.

Enjoying The New Year

We've all slowly adjusted back to the routine. Hayes is talking up a storm, while Josie is using words like awkward and responsibility. Josie picked out new sheets for her bed, as she now sleeps in panties. Josie and us are so excited.  When I recently worked late dad said the kids asked for pancakes and katuchup for dinner. We've been spending lots of time riding bikes and checking out the trails by our house.

Starting The New Year Right

We've actually started-off the New Year just taking it easy; which is pretty nice compared to the hussel and bussel we're used to. We've played at the house, gone on bike rides, hung out with some local friends and visited dad at work. We brought dad donuts and bananas and got to play on the fork lift!
