Family Fun Weekend In The Keys

First Emergency Room Visit

Yup we finally had our visit to the hospital.... The kids and I were out back when we decided to go over to the neighbors dock while dad was bbqing dinner. As we ran over there their Doberman ran to the fence barking. Hayes put his hand up by the dog and it bit his hand through the fence.  Hayes's left hand had a puncture that went in the webbing between his pinky and ring finger on the top and came out the bottom. The ER doctor said they don't typically stich animal bites, but they put him on antibiotics.   Because of the location of the bite it was extremely difficult to keep bandaged. The entire family went to the ER and behaved awesome!   Aunt Brook figured out how to clean it....put change in a cut and fill it with water.  He'll put his hand in it all day. lol

Aunt Kaka's Beach

We spent our 11 anniversary weekend at on Fort Myers Beach with the family. Of course the food was excellent. The weather was a little cold and windy, but flying kites was awesome. Hayes was on a z-pack since one if his lungs flailed up. The meds didn't get along to well with his stomach; so threw-up (for the first time) a few times Saturday night.  Otherwise everyone had a blast.

This was the first time Hayes really enjoyed the beach. It must have been since dad went with us.

We also met up with Lizzy at the playground and the girls stopped to visit Abby at the WPB show grounds.
