Mom's 35 Birthday and Uncle Rob's 40th

Grammy cooked an awesome meatloaf dinner and we had ice cream cake. Hayes gave me a great gift- he told me he had to poop and he pooped on the potty.

Josie and Hayes going to outer space lol.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent one whole day and then some on Brook and Blake's boat. Uncle Blake worked the night before, so he he didn't get any rest and we were on the water, at Halover, by 8:00AM.  The dads did some fishing; lost a huge king fish at the boat and got a nurse shark. We forgot the sip-ups and some snacks, so when we stopped at the marina to fill the tube we also grabbed a bunch of snacks. Marina, Blake and Josie all went tubing behind the boat; this was thir first time.  They all loved it and Hayes enjoyed watching them from the boat. You'll notice their thumbs up to go faster. After, we spent some time at the sand bar and one of the islands we grabbed a bite to eat at Duffys. We had so much fun we didn't get back to the boat ramp until after 10:00PM. Luckily I managed to keep my sea sickness down until we got home. Fortunitly I was still able to run a 5k Monday in 31 minutes.

Early Summer Update

The kids are growing so fast and their vocabulary is expanding every day. Josie weighs 34 lbs and has a very cute vocabulary:

Pickle = frickle
Bikini = zucchini
Oatmeal= mutemeal
Earmuffs = ear gloves
Daddy= daty

She recently, while playing on her bike out back, casually asked me if shut up was a bad word...it was hard not to smile, while saying yes it is a bad word. She also asked me if I'm getting old. I asked her if she thought I was and she said no, but my hands are... :)

Hayes weighs 24 lbs and is talking more and more. He whispers a lot and only talks when he wants to talk.  For the first time I had a whole conversation with Hayes. It happen to be about me telling him to take his hand out of the back of his diaper. I asked hime why his hand was in the back of his diaper. "Cause". Please take your hand out. "Why" it's yucky.  "Oh yucky"

The cousins were able to hang out with their aunts and make monkey bread with Great Aunt Kaka during the break. We've also been playing with Friends Blake and Marina.
