Josie has taken swimming lesson's for about five weeks now. Dad takes her 2x/week after school. Now, she loves her lesson's. Josie likes to go under water and grab the wall. She uses her arms a lot, so we are working with her to use her legs. We got her a plastic swimming pool to play in at home. It's loads of fun.
We've been spending time on the weekends with Josie friends Blake and Marina. Last weekend we all went swimming.
Easter weekend Josie and I met some friends at Robins Lodge for the Easter Egg hunt. Josie and I walked all the way out in the field and got one egg. I think someone felt bad for us because our basket was empty. We watched some of the dancers and got to play in the petting zoo. Josie really, really liked the petting zoo. She tried to hug every animal that went by!!
Easter morning Josie, Dad and I went to the park down the street from our house. As you can see Josie loved that too...lol. She holds my hands and walks up the steps. Then we slide down the slide together. Some times she tries to go with out me.
That afternoon we went to the Triplet's house for Easter lunch. All of Josie's first and second cousins were there. The Easter Bunny even came by to see all the kids and take pictures. I'm sure you could imagine what that was like...I think Josie and Lily were the only two afraid of the bunny. Some how we also managed to get a group of the cousins to sit together. There were a bunch even though some were missing!
Josie went to the doctor for a check up last week. She now weighs 19.5lbs and is 29in long. She is still above average for her height and her weight is about average.
