Great Grandma Butler's Birthday Party

Things have been pretty quiet lately.  Josie ended up with a cold last week so she got stay home from school most of the week.  Mom and Dad alternated taking off work; which was actually kinda nice. Josie was well rested by the weekend to go to Great Grandma Butler’s Birthday lunch.  Josie had fun visiting with everyone and playing with her cousins, including the triplets who are now six months old.  Sorry I didn't get any pictures of Molly.

Just a few self-portraits Josie and I took in our backyard on a windy day.

Yes, she decided to kiss me !!

Watching Daddy
Just enjoying the breeze

Our good friend Magan's parents bought Josie a singing and dancing donkey.  Josie has now started dancing, but it only consists of moving her head from side to side; for now. Acutally, this was the first time she tried multitasking by crawling and dancing; she almost did it. Hope you enjoy the video!

Josie is nine months old and crawling around everywhere!! She has not mastered a quick crawl on both knees, but she now does the one legged crawl and gets around pretty quick. She also holds on to things to stand-up. Once she is up she will let go and wobble for a couple of seconds.  Her weight is still just over 17 lbs, she has two bottom teeth and four on the the top.  She is all about feeding herself now, some knew foods she likes are cantaloupe, pasta, blackberries, Gerber cookies and cheese.  There are not to many kids in Josie's class at school right now.  And she is the only girl!!  The other day when Daddy picked her up Josie's teacher told him that Josie and another boy were in the swings side-by-side.  Can you guess what they were doing.....holding hands!!

After our self-portraits Josie did a short video.  Check out her flowing pony tail at the end of the video.  So cute!

BTW - At the end of every year I will be printing our Blog (I've already printed last year's.  It came out fabulous.)  So if you feel up to it you can post comments on any of our pages.  This way your comments will be printed as part of our Blog Book.  XOXO
