Hayes and Josie got their first boat over the weekend. It's a 15' John boat (party barge for all their cousins and friends) with a camo trolling motor. They've only been in it in the front yard, but so far they love it. Their friends Emma and Kate came over for a visit Saturday evening. The older girls had a blast on the trampoline, the swings and having popcorn while watching Barney, while Kate and Hayes played on the floor together.
Hayes also took this first step while holding on to Josie's baby doll stroller. He was so proud of himself. He also started letting go for a few seconds while he is standing.
The other weekend Dad stayed home to rest his foot and hang out with Hayes, while Josie and I went to the rodeo.
